FYI: How long does it take a Type R to warm up?

Took mine about 12-13 mins to fully warm up this morning, outside temp was around 17 degrees fahrenheit. Basically started the car up and drove off, shifting at around 2500 rpm.

Wrong, it's not warmed up until June at least. lol

Put some coolant additive in there. Helps warm up the car faster in cold weather, keeps it cooler in the summer. I bought some Amsoil coolant additive from TJ Thompson. I put it in my 07 So, and my wife's 09 Fit, and takes about 5 minutes to start blowing warm air. It changes the properties of the water. If you use straight water and the additive, it will keep it 25 degrees cooler in the summer. It isnt antifreeze, so just water and the additive wont end well in the winter.
