Welcome, and what a fantastic collection of cars there sir!

I've recently changed to 19s instead of the stock 20s, I find my self using +R mode much more now than I did before. With the new set of tyres and wheels +R model feels like Sport mode on the 20's.
Thanks!

That’s great to hear about your experience on 19s. I’m going all the way to 18s (18x8.5, +60, 245/40/18 Michelin PS4S) so I look forward to the softer ride in +R mode (I prefer the +R mode traction control behavior).

Really is a big difference, and soaks up the road imperfections much better
(our roads are terrible where we live)

18s will be even better! And the PS4 I've heard is fantastic.

+R mode is great, I love the throttle response, the car seems to feel more alive.

What wheels did you find with a +60 offset? I've not had much luck finding any.

Very interesting. I also have a 911R and a Type R. Great minds think alike!

Yeah, +R mode is great. A little more supple would be even better!

Hopefully, it’s okay to share. Supreme Power has a new custom wheel (SP1). I wanted to keep the stock width and offset, forged, matching hub size, and in 18”. So ended up going custom (pricey though).

I will share more in about a month or so when they arrive.

If one R is good, two Rs would be better!

How long have you had your CTR?

I traded in my M2 for a Type R...was a great decision. Enjoy!
It’s a bit weird/unexpected but I kinda like the CTR more. I will have to see how it goes, there’s likely a bit of honeymoon effect.

the only things I preferred on the M2 were the exhaust note and infotainment. The CTR is bigger, more comfortable, better fuel economy, cheaper to insure and buy

The CTR is addicting! Roads started to get dry so I went for another fun drive (~100 miles). The handling is quite impressive. Great turn in and confidence inspiring!

It must be lots of fun on a track (I don’t plan on tracking mine though).

Congrats to the FK8. A few years back, I shopped around M2C, FK8 and 718 S too. Was biased toward on M2C since like its looks, the number and also am a long term BMW customer but then no BMW dealer willing to let me test drive the car and the attitude is like "If you request to test drive a M which meant you can't afford it". So I end bought a 718 GTS and a FK8 then have a 2022 GT4 allocation to replace my totalled GTS.

I own an M2 on the side - I like it enough to keep it - it's apples and oranges - but the Type R is the better overall car for entertainment / utility etc..

Shockingly good car lol
