I dont think this is a problem personally, especially if the car is warmed up before draining the oil. The particulates will be stirred up and the oil will flow easier when hot/warm. Any particulates will otherwise be captured in the filter. The more I read about this setup the less I liked it? Yes it's convenient but there is some logic to the faster flow being better to get particulates out with the oil you're dumping. With the slow flow from the fumoto I'm going to pass on this setup and just do it without. GL those with but I think faster flow is better option than this.
Had this on my lexus GS at 95k miles and it didnt burn a lick of oil when i sold it at 124k. Changed the oil about every 5k miles with the fumoto.
edit: also as a bmw owner you might be familiar with vacuuming oil out with a pump through the dipstick. Super popular at least with E46 owners.
