Full throttle shifting

Im attempting to use the full throttle shifting on phearable/ ktuner. When I press in the clutch with the gas, the revs stop at 5k in motion. however, when I attempt to full throttle shift the revs still go over 5k. The feature is active, but I'm doing something wrong. Am I not putting the clutch to the floor long enough? Will the rpms cut back if it's past 5k or do I shift before 5k? I suppose a summary on how to full throttle shift, or a video of it in action would be great. I cant find much on the web.

The clutch does need to go to the floor in order for it to activate. Most people don't go all the way during shifting when trying to shift quickly.

This would definitely explain it. Im just scared to slam the clutch in because I'm trying to go fast. Thank you!
