You cant find the few well-known best in chain store except NAPA. Those few he listed are well known actual premium engine oil that track day guys use.

Well I'm not a track guy so Pennzoil or Mobil 1 will have to do. Lol

Those brands have absolutely nothing to do with tracking a car but they are the best ones available. I just consider Mobile1 and Pennzoil Wal-Mart brands but that's my opinion, but my new motto is "it's your car, put in what makes you happy"

Why no green cap Mobil 1 or Penz Plat?

Was just listing true synthetics, Mobile1 and Pennzoil are group3 regular oils with a heavy additive package

Lmao! I used Quaker state and other various brands when I had my 85 Civic. It was still running fine after 265 K miles. The new turbo engine needs premium oil, I think Pennzoil and Mobil 1 are fine. I went with Mobil 1 with the green cap for 1st change.

What is difference between green cap and the advanced gold cap??
The gold stuff is better that's all I really know, and is almost impossible to find in Canada. @hawk02 can tell us if it's a true synthetic?
