Hey guys, currently running e30 blend with a custom tune from my local tuner pushing 330 whp and 318 wtq. Tuner said the only reason I couldn’t push more power was the stock bottom end and the lack of fuel. Injectors were pushing themselves to the max when adding more boost past 22 psi on the 27won W2 turbo. I’ve been looking for any advice on how to get around the port injection system PRL offers because buying a motec standalone ECU and an injector driver plus custom fab pieces for mounting the port injection system is more than I’m willing to endeavor into supplying more power. Any advice or knowledge on the subject would be greatly appreciated!

More power? With 330 whp/318 wtq, aren't you concerned at all about the hatches "weaker" rods? I think you're at or beyond the safety point.

I'm planing on doing the TSP short block engine upgrade very soon, I’m just trying to get ahead of things so I have a plan.

build it before you break it.
don't mean to be rude but it's never a good idea to go too far before building the block. yes you have a very good chance to break yr engine.
maybe you can give vp a call for various types of fuel.

Manual or cvt?
Manual transmission and the boost only kicks in around 5,500 rpm and it’s been handling really well. I don’t push it often at all. I’m just waiting on the tax return to finish the engine build.

You could go for meth injection which is cheapest but carries its own risks. Otherwise you should find an L15B7 head (or put an Si camshaft in your existing head) and get Emans fuel system upgrade.

Isn’t his fuel upgrade only compatible with K-tuner?

Oh I have no idea. Just know it's a potential option. Meth is cheap and easy but on the stock ECU implementing a failsafe is tricky. I haven't worked out a way yet.

Daelan from MAPerformance was working on a possible fuel system solution with new fuel pumps late last year iirc but haven't heard from him in regards to any updates.

AFAIK, the only thing out now is really swapping in the Si motor and if you need more than that but want to retain your stock ecu and use ktuner then you need to hit up eman for his upgrade kit.

Theres a 2.0T accord swap that works with the Si while retaining stock ECU.
I wonder if it will work with non si

Should simply be able to swap in an Si Ecu as well. This is interesting!

I think the K20C4 will definitely be the "swap of the future" for this gen once wrecker yards are full of 2.0 accords.

5.5k ??? so you have only roughly 1.5k rpm at 22 psi to play with.
dyno chart share would be nice.
