Fuel reserve in Civic

How much of a reserve is there in the civic when the low fuel light comes on? I know it can vary from car to car. I think I read that the civic has 1.9 Gallons left once the light comes on. Can anyone verify that?

I wouldn't wait til fill up when the light hits. It does ruin your fuel pump in the long run

I try my best to go as close to the light as possible. Like if I know it’s gonna hit the next day with my commute to work, I’ll stop by the night before to get gas. I usually need $30 right now to fuel all the way up. Pretty much use BP or shell exclusively

I am trying to get my fuel down to replace the pump the day after tomorrow. Just trying to play that fine line of getting it low enough without tipping into that critical reserve.
