Hey guys not sure if anyone else has come across a fuel pressure issue. I got a CEL that came on in a WOT 5th gear pull, fault that stored was P0087 Fuel pressure in rail too low. I cleared the fault and it didn’t come back and doesn’t seem to consistently do that. Looked thru some threads and didn’t see anything about fuel pressure. Am I the only that experienced this?? Thanks

Totally your car and your choice but..... never a great idea to go WOT in an overdriven gear. Next time, use 4th for such shennanigans

It does fine 1-4 but in 5th and 6th gets sluggish. Just wondering if anyone else with the FK8 has come across any fuel pump issues

When did you start pull (just when in 5th, or 2-4)?
Fuel filter clogged, gas line restriction, or gas not reaching pick-up (low fuel level)?

The light came in when I was in 5th just cruising at 55 then stabbed it... but after I did a 1-5 pull and I noticed it tapered down quite a bit in 4th and 5th didn’t feel right so I got out of it

Not likely the pump but the 3 items suggested need to be considered.
Clogged filter gas line restriction or fuel not reaching doesn’t make any sense on a new car with 4400 miles

Interesting, would suck if the pump is already bad on a new car. Be curios to see what Honda says.

just FYI flooring the car in the 5th gear is never a good idea. low speed high torque - perfect scenario for LSPI event

Yup!! Shoulda got the Hellcat!!! Just FYI they say this car is track ready!!! Should be able to be floored in every gear including 6th all the way to redline... but I guess it is just a little Honda Civic :dunno: maybe the wheels might fall off lol
