I'm selling my 2018 Civic Type R, as I don't drive it nearly as much as I used to.
The car has just over 26,000 miles. I take it out maybe once or twice weekly for groceries and in-town trips.
The car has a couple of bolt-on modifications (described below), but I will include all stock parts, so you can either decide to keep them or sell them on CivicX. See pricing below for info on this.
The car also includes an 8-year, 120,000 mile extended warranty. I purchased the car from its original owner with 7,500 miles on it. Since then, I've driven mostly to-and-from work.
Changes to the car include:
1. A Remus exhaust (this is a variable actuator exhaust that can open or close depending on how loud you want it, controlled by a bluetooth button included in the car);
2. An Injen Evolution full box air intake kit (for maximum WHOOSH'ing);
3. Yellow laminX fog lamp film (easily removable, but it looks awesome);
4. LED rear turn signals and brakes;
5. An authentic Mugen 6-speed leather shiftknob (the aluminum stock shifter would either brand your hand in the summer or freeze it in the winter);
6. Some Honda OEM red floor lights (they're not noticeable, and come on with the headlights);
7. Wheels/tires (this you would be stuck with, as I sold the OEM wheels/tires, but frankly they're super easy to come by on CivicX): I went from the flimsy 20" stock wheels to these 19" Motegis with Continental DWS ExtremeContact ultra high performance all-season tires (put on about 10,000 miles ago, still have excellent tread and can see D W and S on the tires).
Maintenance: I've kept up with the car according to the OM specs, including oil + filter changes with synthetic Mobil 1 every 4,000-5,000 miles. I applied a ceramic coating to the vehicle in May of 2020 (doesn't include the wheels). I changed the manual transmission fluid to a synchromesh amsoil at 20,000 miles.
Upcoming maintenance may include changing the rear brake pads, and potentially the front rotors.
I'm asking $35,000 as-is, where you could either keep the car as-is or make $2-3 grand selling the parts and get it back to stock, or I can get the car back to stock for you and I'm asking $33,000 in that case.
Clean Carfax. I financed the car through USAA.
