I have a scratch on my wheel exactly like the one on yours. My fingernail must have caught it somehow and it made a couple small rips in the leather like that going down in a small line. I cant see it but I feel it every now and then when turning and it aggravates the daylights out of me knowing it's there. It's making me want to upgrade to either a Type R or BuddyClub wheel pretty soon.

my jacket's zipper caught it when entering my car.... now that scratch sort of smoothed out, though....
I replaced it with a new type-r steering wheel... couldn't be happier
