From my 2021 Type R. Used for 18k miles. Ceramic-coated after car purchase.
Had a scissor jacking incident where the jack failed and it shot up into the rocker panel. The rocker panel was still secured well to the body and you couldn't tell anything was off when you're next to the car, but I went ahead and replaced it since I couldn't stand the widened gap between the rocker panel and the body, only visible when the front driver door is open. There is a small crack right where it meets the door, and the plastic underneath that little section is warped. It may be possible to push out the warped plastic back to original position, to get factory fit again without any gap, I'm not sure. Check out the pics. The rest of the rocker panel is in otherwise excellent condition.
Compatible with all years 2017-2021.
Procuring this part at a Honda dealer parts department would set you back $570 retail price, plus tax.
