You may have seen it before, you may already know, but - the Si Hatchback is done! Asking $22,000, it's a properly executed, fully prepared car equally happy to daily drive, carve backroads, or race on track.

Honda Civic 10th gen FS: '18 Civic Si Hatchback conversion 1605729266192

The conversion:

- Brand new Si L15B7, sourced directly from Honda
- Brand new Si engine harness, ECU, and fuel system, sourced directly from Honda
- Low-mileage Si turbo, intake, and downpipe
- Low-mileage Si engine mounts
- 2018 Si driver and passenger seats
- 2018 Si steering wheel
- 2018 Si shift knob
- Brand new Si shift boot
- Brand new Si 'Sport' button
- 2018 Si Android headunit, FM tuner, GPS antenna
- 2019 Type R door cards front & rear

Chassis has just over 25k miles now, I *just* rolled over 10,000mi on the new engine. Everything is healthy as can be, oil changed every 3000-3500mi. The car deviates from a factory Si where stock needs improvement:

- Clutch: replaced with a Clutch Masters FX725
- Differential: replaced with an MFactory 1.5-way LSD
- Engine: added a MAPerformance oil cooler
- Engine mounts: added Perrin RMM inserts
- Instrument cluster: factory Sport unit for its analog tach and faster response
- Climate controls: factory Sport unit for its physical knobs

The car is 100% track prepared and dialed in - the closest experience you can get to a TCA Si with a stock interior.
- KTuner V2, available tuned by DRob or you can use the stock Si maps
- Genuine Mugen front spoiler, wrapped black
- Genuine Civic Type R rear wing, vortex generators, and trunk
- Custom-valved BC Racing coilovers w/ Swift springs
- Integra Type R Brembo brakes w/ Winmax pads
- Enkei NT03+M wrapped in Yokohama AD08R
- N1 intake ports for additional cooling
- Vented front fenders

It HAS been raced, that's how we know it's good. That comes with a short list of flaws:
- Washer bottle removed to clear the front tires (can include with sale)
- Rear wiper deleted (can include with sale)
- Rock chips on front bumper
- Small dent on front left fender
- Rock chips/minor paint cracking at the edges of wheel wells

I've touched up and sealed the paint to the point where it's never obvious, and has not/will not develop rust.

Located in San Jose, CA - tags are paid till July, car is paid off, I have the pink slip in hand. I think $22k is a fair price for the Civic that everyone asked for, but Honda never made!

Completely love the build, this is unrelated, but where is your first build thread? I found the continued one, but don't see the original... I was looking for why you were covering your oil cooler up to get higher temps...

The original probably got axed when I demoted from vendor to personal account.

MAP's oil cooler doesn't use a thermostat for flow and space reasons, so for daily driving, the oil cooler is covered up to allow the oil to hit ~190F. It's a purposeful compromise, you can still do highway pulls and canyon drives without cooking the oil (6qt oil capacity) but it won't be too cold to evaporate off the fuel and water vapor that normally gets into the oil.

What ended up happening to the oil accusump and the aero parts? Any chance I could take those off your hands?

Those sold immediately after I took them off last year.

Dunno how you see a custom trunk in these pictures. I even wrote that it's all factory Honda parts. lol...

Beautiful build. If this was up 3 months ago I would have picked it up instead of my Si. GLWS and a free bump for you .
