You may have seen it before, you may already know, but - the Si Hatchback is done! Asking $22,000, it's a properly executed, fully prepared car equally happy to daily drive, carve backroads, or race on track.
The conversion:
- Brand new Si L15B7, sourced directly from Honda
- Brand new Si engine harness, ECU, and fuel system, sourced directly from Honda
- Low-mileage Si turbo, intake, and downpipe
- Low-mileage Si engine mounts
- 2018 Si driver and passenger seats
- 2018 Si steering wheel
- 2018 Si shift knob
- Brand new Si shift boot
- Brand new Si 'Sport' button
- 2018 Si Android headunit, FM tuner, GPS antenna
- 2019 Type R door cards front & rear
Chassis has just over 25k miles now, I *just* rolled over 10,000mi on the new engine. Everything is healthy as can be, oil changed every 3000-3500mi. The car deviates from a factory Si where stock needs improvement:
- Clutch: replaced with a Clutch Masters FX725
- Differential: replaced with an MFactory 1.5-way LSD
- Engine: added a MAPerformance oil cooler
- Engine mounts: added Perrin RMM inserts
- Instrument cluster: factory Sport unit for its analog tach and faster response
- Climate controls: factory Sport unit for its physical knobs
The car is 100% track prepared and dialed in - the closest experience you can get to a TCA Si with a stock interior.
- KTuner V2, available tuned by DRob or you can use the stock Si maps
- Genuine Mugen front spoiler, wrapped black
- Genuine Civic Type R rear wing, vortex generators, and trunk
- Custom-valved BC Racing coilovers w/ Swift springs
- Integra Type R Brembo brakes w/ Winmax pads
- Enkei NT03+M wrapped in Yokohama AD08R
- N1 intake ports for additional cooling
- Vented front fenders
It HAS been raced, that's how we know it's good. That comes with a short list of flaws:
- Washer bottle removed to clear the front tires (can include with sale)
- Rear wiper deleted (can include with sale)
- Rock chips on front bumper
- Small dent on front left fender
- Rock chips/minor paint cracking at the edges of wheel wells
I've touched up and sealed the paint to the point where it's never obvious, and has not/will not develop rust.
Located in San Jose, CA - tags are paid till July, car is paid off, I have the pink slip in hand. I think $22k is a fair price for the Civic that everyone asked for, but Honda never made!
