Has anyone come up with a solution to get rid of (or improve the appearance) of the fake vents front and back? Long time ago, I remember seeing someone doing so, but can't find his post by search.

@ttorres1183 has a video on his YouTube channel with very detailed steps on removing the front vents. They then replaced them with the mustang style LED inserts.

The front vent is held in by friction and a pushpin. If it weren't for the pushpin you would be able to remove the vent with just a flat head screwdriver without having to remove the front bumper

That was for an EX and requires bumper removal. The CTR fog covers are held in by tabs and a push pin and the bumper can stay on.

Can anyone provide a part number for these pieces? I wouldn't mind filling them with bondo, sanding down, and painting to make a concept design. These pieces can probably be handed to a carbon fiber/fiber glass expert and they could replicate smooth versions.

Making carbon replacements is an excellent idea and a small carbon project!

I have been waiting for someone or a company to mess with these design wise. Anyone still messing with the hood scoop?
