Thats really odd because seriously they front brake pads can be changed in less then 10 mins both sides on a lift. Even with a jack the fronts dont take any time at all as they are made to be changed on the fly on a race track. The rotors for front maybe 15 mins cause have to take a bolt out to swing caliper up. So them costing more to do?Here's direct quotes I was recommended last time I was there:
Brake Rotors/Discs and Pads, Front - Replace - Price: $871.95
Brake Rotors/Discs and Pads, Rear - Replace - Price: $628.42
Sales tax: $110.34
With retraction tool for ebrake the backs dont take any longer. With a lift and the retraction tool it can be done whole car rotors and all in less then 45 mins(with jack stands a bit longer). And you see where people buy the parts for 300. My ceramic pads were 120 for the whole car. I mean I know they have a business but dang thats steep. Its why I learned to work on my own car
