Forum alerts.. What the..

Anyone getting separate alerts for each watched thread post all of the sudden as of this afternoon? Instead of getting 1 for a post.. Even if there are multiple.. Im getting an alert for every single post

Yep. I came home from being out most of the day to see like 68 alerts...

Uncheck "Persistent Alerts Enabled" (the second option). Make sure you click Save at the bottom of the page.

Yeah, I was like damn, everyone's really talking now. Had 48 on my alert counter within an hour. Started happening after the Si and Type R headlines came on. Hot topics.

I had like 63 when I got up this morning. My first thought was that I had posted something that really pissed people off. That probably happened, but atleast now I know there is another explanation too.

Well, there goes the use of 'alerts' for me. And I used to be so happy getting alert notifications too. Now its the opposite. Thanks whoever messed up a setting or something to cause this to happen.
