Got a question because don’t know lol!! What his the idle PSI for this cars? -8 , -9?!?
Generally... yes... I see it read down around that. If I remember right, true vacuum is around 30 in/Hg (I've seen them on scales that go as far as 36), and we stay on a psi scale... and -10 psi oughta be around the ~20 in/Hg of vacuum my other turbo cars that have read at that scale have at idle.

Forge is a good reliable company. I used to be heavy in to the VW world and their stuff is highly recommended in that group. I have their catch can installed on my SI since I still had it left over from my GTI. It is definitely better than the OEM part for sure.

Necroing the shit out of this thread...

My experience with Forge was born from being into the VW scene over a decade ago, and having a Mk4 GTI that ripped its stock DV before the 10,000 mile mark.

However, you might want to look closer at the Forge unit before putting it on your Honda.

Everything seems okay, right?

But wait, look at the crescent shaped port for the outlet/recirc. Note that it's roughly 180 degrees around the center, but there's a bolt hole right in the middle.

Now look at its mating surface on the car:

Crescent shaped port around the center, roughly 180 degrees... but not in the same place!:hmm:

No matter how you bolt up the DV, those ports will not match up. I'm thinking that's probably a pretty important detail.

I have an email in to them right now, trying to figure out WTF is going on exactly.

Just checked my boomba recirculating valve and compared with the stock. Also the hose with the stock is cheap, started to rip somehow...

@Nitori This was a pretty good observation. Thanks for posting up the pics and info.

How does this valve working for you? I got a 17 so with a Bov and I cant find a stock one to save my life. So was wondering if you've had any problems with it

Works great, no issues that I've noticed so far over a year.
