What's your opinion on them now after owning them for this amount of time? Where is the best place to purchase them as well? If this needs to be moved to lighting, that's fine. Just wanted some opinions on these.
I sell them at my job since we're an aftermarket parts distributor. The DEPO stuff is top notch. If you get NSF or CAPA certified they are excellent. No moisture fogging or any issues whatsoever. They list for $525.25 USD and our walk-in customer price is $404.99 each. We usually sell to shops for around $299.99

I purchased the whole oem for 655.. plus the harness.. 165.

So I spent about 820 for the oem.. I would rather retrofit oem. I'm sure they are brighter
Let me know when all of the goods show up... I'll help you install them ;)

Any way I could get them for $405 if I'm not walk in. $600 online is expensive :(

+1 on the HID recommendation

LEDs can't match HID for brightness or color. 6000K HIDs are like looking into the sun. It's bright bright white but with purplish and yellowish flare like a JJ Abrams movie. LEDs put out maybe 3000-3600 lumens per pair, maybe. The HIDs put out 3800, each. And shine twice as far.

I got my set from xenondepot for like $90. Theirs are the only ones I've found to have less than 7 amps startup so they do not need a relay and do not damage your wiring harnesses.

Why not?

A factory standard 55 watt halogen uses a steady 4.5 amps but upon startup the inrush current is like, 10-11 amps. That's what the factory wiring harness is designed to handle.

Cheap crappy 35 watt HID drivers will pull 15+ amps during startup. That's why u need a relay.

Xenon depot hid drivers draw only 3.5 amps with less than 6 amp inrush. So perfectly safe to run without a relay. In fact, safer than your factory bulbs.

BTW someone asked me for a pic of just how bright the HIDs are. I have HID low beams with LED high beams but my girls car has HIDs with the factory halogen high beams.

Here's the factory high beam. They have no cut off and a narrower side spill than the factory low beams. Note how bright the central hotspot is on the factory high beams.

Here are the HID low beams. Note the crazy side spill and ridiculous hot spot. The factory low beams are obviously dimmer than the factory high beams. So now you have some idea of how dim the factory low beams are. There is no comparison.

Here are the HID's with the factory halogen high beams. Note how the HID's completely blow away the high beams in both color and intensity.

My car's behind hers so i can't show you the LED high beams to compare but I did a quick photo shopping to show you visually how much brighter the xenondepot LED high beams look to my eyes.

ebay!

There was one going for 500.. I offered 220 and it was accepted. 9k miles on it, micro flaws but it's in perfect condition.
passenger side was 425 with the shipping, brand new no miles
Nice. I looked on eBay but the ones for $200 had broken lenses or non working leds or broken tabs
