For those who have ordered the DEPO Led Headlights

What's your opinion on them now after owning them for this amount of time? Where is the best place to purchase them as well? If this needs to be moved to lighting, that's fine. Just wanted some opinions on these.

I've had them for almost 7 months. If you are looking for better visibility the output on them aren't very good for me but they look cool especially the turn signal led. The quality is very good they are basically oem but I drove with them on a misty night and I couldn't see a thing. After some adjustments, it is better but still not as good as I thought. Luckily it doesn't rain where I live so I haven't bothered removing them plus I like the look.

I purchased the whole oem for 655.. plus the harness.. 165.

So I spent about 820 for the oem.. I would rather retrofit oem. I'm sure they are brighter

Assuming the DEPO units are basically clones of the OEM lights, here is a comparison of the halogens and the LED units. Click on the "headlights" tab on the left.

That's true. Hid is a lot brighter especially with the proper projector

I’ve never retrofitted so idk what it would even look like or how to do it. I don’t have an extra pair of headlights either so can’t have downtime.

A HID retrofit will give better output than the OEM LED lamps. It is not complicated. Honestly, removing the front fascia and wiring the relays is more complicated than splitting the headlight and replacing the lamp.

youll need a resistor if you want led on the halogen
