Are you affected by the recall
What is your door tags manufacture date?

Maybe this will help up get a better idea of what time period the cars with the issue are from. (early production, mid or later)

Purchased the car this past Friday.

It would probably be far more meaningful to ask what the door tag's manufacture date is than date purchased. Time in transit and on the lot will vary all over the place.

No i called twice and both times they have told me my vehicle isn't showing any recalls. But if it expands to include mine they will notify me.

Has anybody that was told on the phone that their Civic is affected by the recall checked to see if the Honda website also says it has a recall?

I know some people have gotten the opposite. The website says no but the over the phone they say yes.
EDIT: the website still seems to not be correct. I ran my VIN and the VIN of an affected car and both show no recalls or TSB's

To those asking yes, I called and they said there's a recall but the website didn't show anything.
I'd say their website isn't fully updated

I guess only time will tell which was correct...the phone reps or the website.

When you call the service department, they will look it up in the Honda Interactive Network and do a "VIN Inquiry"

If the vehicle has a recall, it will show this
