Yeah, less than I wanted overall, but it was the best offer I had gotten from multiple sources.

Yeah, pretty much everyone I spoke said the same thing. I was aiming for $30K, which I thought was a moonshot.

It did via Cars & Bids. The process on Cars & Bids was great, totally recommend them!

Change of plans! No sale after all. The Buyer backed out of the deal. We had a long phone call after the auction ended, and I told him the details of how the car is heavily modified, and smog is tricky. I think that changed his mind.

Honestly, I'm not upset about it. I mean, sure it'd be nice to have the money, but I'm also a firm believer in balance, and watching for patterns. Maybe now isn't the right term to get rid of the car. No sweat. I'm not in a hurry, and I'm not desperate for the $$$. Good things come to those who wait.

I know you were aiming for $30k but you should get close to $25k if you did a minor part out and made it CA legal. And recoup some money from selling the mods.

I'm sure you could find a local 10th gen owner that would want to swap your BBK for factory brakes + cash. Same for steering wheel, wheels, turbo, and all other bolt ons.

You'd definitely get over $18-20k if you got it closer to stock! You should at least lose the stickers lol

The highest bid was $22K, but the buyer backed out of the deal. I don’t think he fully realized what it would take to smog the vehicle. I’m not in a hurry to sell it. I’ll try again later.
