Any of you knows if we can set fog lights setting to be always on? I mean, with Low/Hi Beams and with DRL?

For those who don't know, Fog are only on with low beam.

Is it something we can change with Hondata/Ktuner? On my VW, we had to use an external software to manage all these settings, but it was pretty easy.

Thanks

I can also fail an inspection with an aftermarket exhaust, suspension, etc.

My question is not about law, is about if it's possible to have them always on.

It should be possible with modifying the wiring/relays but you need the wiring diagrams.

Several people have been trying to do this for months but no one has found a workable way to get around the wiring without causing problems.

A friendly bump...

I call my fog lights "pothole lights." Here in PA, that extra low illumination really does help to save my rims, and I was hoping someone might have figured a way to keep the fogs on while the high beams are also burning. Any new information on this for a 2018 Si?

Luckily I’m great with wiring as a Honda Technician. I have created a way to get the fog lights to work with the high beams with zero codes. I will be posting up a DIY later when I have time to sit down and make it. For the non believers here is a teaser photo.

I decided to turn these on for a highway run when it was misty outside. What is the use of these lights? Are they supposed to cut through the fog? Are they supposed to illuminate the area just in front of the bumper that the low beams cant cover?

If you adjust them properly they illuminate the sides of the road better. They are a very wide beam compared to the headlights that are straight down the road.

This might be different across regions. I just tested it with my completely stock car and the fog lights are on even when the high beams are turned on. But they don't turn on without at least the low beams, so I can't just have them on by themselves.
