I want to raise my vehicle using a floor jack to get enough clearance under the vehicle for some maintenance.
When raising the car, I hear a "rubbing creaking growning" sound. Does not matter if raising the vehicle from the front or rear jack point below the rocker. The is the procedure outlined in the manual to perform an emergency tire change.
Question:Is this sound some indication of potential mechanical damage?
