I might be missing something obvious, but I’m a little puzzled as to how a Flex Fuel Kit like PRL’s can work with both Ktuner & Hondata.

From what I’ve read, Ktuner requires the standard 0v-5v (E0-E100) flex fuel sensor output to be converted to a .5v-4.5v, with .5v being E0 & 4.5v being E100. This is why the Sirimoto Kit requires the user to program that in before use, and why Ktuner sells a standalone converter for DIY builds.

So, how does a flex fuel kit like PRL’s, which can’t be programmed like the Sirimoto kit by the user, determine whether to leave the signal as a 0v-5v output for Hondata, or convert it to .5v-4.5v output for Ktuner? Can it somehow tell which tuning device has been used to flash the ECU?
