Using flex fuel the ECU will compensate for any ethanol content but we want to stay in the sweet spot of 40% ethanol for best performance.
If you are using flex fuel then it can be a guessing game when filling as to how much E85 vs gasoline you need. So we have made a calculator which you can use at the pump.

For the calculator pump ethanol content is fairly easy to determine (0%, 10% or 15%), but E85 can be from 70% to 85% depending on location and time of year. In California we see 78-80% year round.
The fuel tank size for the FK8 is at around 12.5 gallons and when you estimate the current fuel level you will have to use a base line where empty has around 1.5 gallons in the tank still.
