I had a flat too. Same tire.. Drywall screw. Simple plug took care of it. No issues since. Drove to Mid-Ohio and back last weekend.

update day 3.5 of Tire Gate
we have a tire...
we have a Hunter tire machine...
we don't have the Hunter Tire machine installed...
I am starting to wonder if this was such a good idea

Sounds like the cost of being an early adopter. Hopefully most Honda dealers will quickly adopt the new machines and this kind of waiting won't be the norm. If you still have all of those other cars in your garage I think you will make it.

Picked up the car yesterday afternoon and all is well, new tire, no damage to wheel, no noticeable difference from before.
The one thing I did, given the mathematical possibilities of 4 people on this forum already having flat tires from punctures, and based on information that I have seen on Tire Rack for tires listed for the Type R, I have increased my air pressure in the tires 42lbs front 40lbs rear, over the recommended 35/32 I set it to after I first got the car.
Now, I know my logic may be faulty, or not even relevant, but at least I feel like I did something.
