If it is true about the VSA being fully off and I can roast the wheels in 2nd gear I'd be so happy :drive:

Awesome! So no more pulling of the fuse required either? And it doesn't cause any obnoxious warnings lights/messages?

I would love to see how this affects the 0-60 times for this car.
After playing with the vsa disable. The vsa doesn't stay on but it will still flash if the tires are slipping

I'd imagine that this is why people were talking about pulling the fuse. It was probably the fuse corresponding to this light.

Just need boost ramp defeat now and I'll be 100% satisfied

Edit: boost ramp defeat = disable boost target dampening... wooops!

Isn't this what disabling boost target dampening does?
Yea, that's what it's called, I was just working off the top of my head. As far as I knew this was a ktuner only feature as of right now. I just had a quick look through the +6 CVT, +6 MT and +9 MT and couldn't find it. If you could point me to it that would be awesome.

a small update for the 2017 Si - boost by gear and crv support

Changes from 2.8.2.0:
  • FlashPro firmware updated to version 120
  • [2017 CRV] United states release
  • [2017 Civic Si] Added boost by gear limit table
  • [2006-2011 Civic Si / 2006-2011 FN2] Active tuning merge tables available
Download here

This release supports the 2017+ US CR-V

The 2017+ Civic Si gets boost by gear. There is a table which specifies the maximum boost (in bar) for each gear, indexed by rpm.

The new knock control default after re-flash is a nice touch.
Yes, it literally saves us about 15 to 20 minutes of driving after each reflash, and if you're on the dyno, it is an invaluable feature.

For most people though, it just means you get full power right away after reach reflash ;)

It is possible to roast the wheels in 2nd gear...I can WOT starting at 2k RPM and it will break loose. :) (E85 custom tune)

Previously when you ticked the VSA off in the calibrations it didn't fully turn off the traction control. But with the update it now does, I'm running just the +9 tune and can chirp third which is awesome.
