I replied to your support request before finding this thread. Our next software release will remove the 41F limits. In the meantime reflash after the vehicle is warmed up, or allow the vehicle to warm up so IAT and ECT are both over 41F and then power cycle the ignition.

We figured it out. You have to flash when the coolant and intake temperatures are above 41F. You'll need to bring it into a garage or something. They're working on a patch now. It's a behavior built in from the factory - nothing to do with Hondata.
I’ve flashed when the car was bone cold and 20 degrees outside. In my garage (which is not properly insulted) prob was below 41. Never had a problem with version released last year Jan. Maybe even earlier.

Then again maybe it was on the line. You sure this always existed? With older ECUs?

We don't make random changes to versions. All the evidence points to the throttle re-learn minimum temperature being the problem.

- when this occurs I can taken calibrations from affected vehicles and uploaded 20+ times into another vehicle without a problem
- there is an error code which specifically tells us the problem is that the idle re-learn is not being performed
- Honda documentation lists that the re-learn will not be performed if the IAT or ECT is below 40F
- inspection of the code confirms the same behavior
- workarounds work eg reflashing the same calibration when the vehicle is warmer
- only people is cold climates in winter get this problem

This was not Hondata. Besides all the reasons above, I have found posts from years ago where it affected people on KTuner too.
