Wow, this tuning makes so much difference to the car!!

Flashed with Stage 2 basemap(21psi), the car even loses traction when stepping down on the gas from a stop.

Currently, the car is equipped with Michelin Defender T+H tires, which seem to have enough grip. I just gotta be careful not to deliver too much power when going 0-60.

Otherwise, I’m having so much fun driving my civic right now :)

I just got my Ktuner v2 setup and will be flashing tomorrow. So excited, I want to go for a drive right now but this parenting thing is getting in the way. LOL.
Congrats and stay safe.

I recommend checking out TSP’s stage 1 tune. I found it was much smoother and offered a better ride than KTuner base maps. It also kills it above 60mph- it just keeps climbing without much effort.

also a PRL Cobra CAI for the woosh woosh noises and colder/more airflow can only be better when running a tune

Personally, I found that mine ran better after my car learned the tune after a few days of commuting to work. It’s a lot of fun though. I’ve gotten my hatch over 130mph on the stretch of highway before my exit and I’m convinced if I wouldn’t have let off it could have been in the 140s. Have fun though you’ll love it

Isn't stage 2 too much for a CVT?

I wouldn’t say it’s “too much”. With proper maintenance and driving within reason (not flooring it from a dig, not braking extremely hard often, etc..) it’s completely fine AFAIK
