Flash back to stock, k.con a little high!

So in the winter i swap my winter wheels and flash back to stock and i noticed that my k.con was at 0.90 at first. As i kept driving the car throughout the day it was slowly going down. Is this normal? Its fine now but it kinda had me worried.

I've had that happen every flash. Eventually it works itself back down. Im not 100 percent about the reasoning behind it but maybe womeone else will have more insight.

With a new flash, it always starts out higher than normal.

Once you drive it a bit, the ECU learns the octane of the gas and such and it settles back down.

Yup, most ECUs are programmed this way. It would be really bad to have them start with the most aggressive timing right after a reset. That how things go boom. Better to start our conservatively.
