Did anybody ever tried fk8 oem springs on their civic sedan/coupe/Hatch?
I know si springs can be used on the regular civics and some people also use lowering springs for the type r .

If they do I have a set of oem springs off mine
They will fit but I'm not sure how the ride height will be.My guess is they will be between the ride height from a si and a regular civic but with much firmer springs.
The front springs are 1.5" shorter on the type r vs the oem si ones.
The rear ones have the same length, but with the higher spring rate might cause the rear to be higher.

I think i can answer this question myself now.Based from other lowering springs length and spring rates and the oem type R spring rate and lengths i can assume installing type R springs onto a Civic Si will remain the same ride height and might even lift the rear a bit .
Installing them on a non si will lower the car aprox 10mm or 0.5" .
