Just ordered Espelir from a really great guy @ e-autosports.com that's expediting shipping and all to help me out this weekend. Let's just say a few other "popular" vendors couldn't care less and were complete JOs over the phone.. Oh well.

@Petrolicious I'll let you know how things are going and what I think sometime next week.
I’m interested to hear how you like the Espelir springs as well. Did you purchase their bump stops as well? I was told Espelir recommends swapping out OEM bump stop and replace with theirs when using their springs...

Nice. Hope install goes well. Did you get the silencer/rubber sleeves?
The vendor I am working with just told me he's including the sleeves for the front springs... since that's what he recommends and that's what he uses on his own setup... which is Espelir haha

Good question, as I mentioned above, the vendor has a Type R and has the springs installed and has had them for some time. He owns the white Type R in a lot of their IG posts. He did not cut the stock bump stops and did not use their "recommended" part... but I know which piece you're talking about.

It's pretty cool the guy gave me his cell #... so I literally just texted him and asked haha.

I'll keep you guys in the loop and might make a build thread to add comments and opinions, etc.... so keep an eye out.

If you don't hear from me, just DM me.

Anyone run 265/35/18 Indy 500 tires and lowered with a 18x9.5 +38 VOLK wheel and do you rub? Trying to decide what springs to go with and daily drive through winter as well in Canada with a 18x8 +30 niche wheel going on 245/40/18. Any recommendations?

none in North America at the moment... ask me how I know smh

I was told by a vendor there was *some* inventory expected in 3-4 weeks.... but not a lot...and they’ll go QUICK for sure.

Good luck

I run 265/35/18 Yokohama Advan Apex on 18x9.5 +35 Volk CE28SL lowered on EIbach Sportline springs with an SPC rear camber kit. Front alignment pins were pulled and I bent the front fender tab. I do not rub front or rear.

RS-R: Down SUS (H059D)

Noticeably firmer, but still really smooth in comfort mode.

How's the ride quality been? Any complaints or cons that you can share?

I think you can tell that the car is under dampened (which I assume is the same for all springs with an increased spring rate). With that said, I think it still rides well. My wife and kids never complain. I do find myself using comfort mode a lot less now though.

This was a few weeks ago, but a tuner shop near me had at least one set of Spoon springs (and rigid collars) -- https://yumesports.ca/

Been dropped on Tein S tech springs sine July. It was a nice alternative to Swift Springs that were out of stock at the time, but given that I've used Stechs on three different vehicles, I was confident I would like them and I do. It is definitely stiffer than stock, a bit bouncier, but still performs great. The drop is perfect. I find myself mostly in sport but have no issues in R. Comfort is a tad bouncier so I dont generally put the R in that, even on long cruises.

Currently dropped on 18x9.5 +35 Konig Ampliforms on 255/35/18 Federal RS Pro tires

looks amazing man. You just motivated me to rip off the “civic” tomorrow. It definitely plays REALLY well on the Black R... but I also like how it looks like it simplifies a busy rear end already.
Oh and the drop/wheels looks A1! Great choices bro.

K Tuned springs and camber adjustment front and rear. No bounce and a very functional track height to fit meaty tires. These springs are similar to the Spoon but they offer a higher rate for the front which I agree with for balance.

The price is listed in CAD, so about $530 USD.
