Any examples of 19x9.5 +35 fitment?? There’s a guy trying to move some bbs wheels for a steal with this sizing

probably would need a fender cut from what I’m reading correct??
It will likely rub unless you plan to shave the rears.

@System Motorsports I'm running Rays 57CR in 18x9.5 +38 with a PS4S 265/35/18 and i've bent the front fender tab and everything seems to be fine with no rubbing. I'm going to be needing new tires in the next few thousand miles and was thinking about going to a 275/35 instead. I'm assuming i'd have to trim a bit of the rear fender flare for clearance but do you think it would be fine to do so other than that? Tire rack seems to measure specs of a 275/35 on a 9.5in wheel so i don't think the width would be an issue.

Any datapoints on 10" +41 (== 9.5" +35) with Yokohama AD08R 265/35/18?
I'm lowered on Pro kit but I think my springs have settled lower than the advertised 0.8" ~ 20mm drop, pretty sure my current height is more akin to Swift (1").
Have front ball joints (-2.6deg front camber), rear is static - ~2.6-2.7deg (no camber arms).

Front, I'm expecting to smack the top fender tab (correct me if I'm wrong).
Rears is what I'm mostly concerned about, especially under load (both on track and light-ish daily load; say driver + 2 passengers, or driver + 4 tires mounted on rims in trunk - ~200-300lbs in additional weight). Any concerns hitting the metal on the rear fender flares?

For those who have an FK8 and are thinking about adding/changing to the FL5 CTR:

Here's some more documentation and proven data from one of our partners / clients, thus reaffirming the fact that 9.5 +45 offset seems to be the golden spec for this car.

Fitment is spot on, does not rub, and clears the suspension + fenders without issue. Stock factory suspension and plenty more room to go in the event one does want to upgrade to lowering springs or coilovers.

This FL5 Civic Type R belongs to our client Mendie (@FL5_type_r_pham). First FL5 Civic Type R equipped with Rays Volk TE37SL #systemspec. Once this car is lowered, it will look even better. More photos to come!

As shown:
  • TE37SL 18x9.5 +45 5x120 (System Motorsports Spec) - FK8 + FL5 Civic Type R compatible
  • Concave Face (not flat face). Shares the same mold as the highly-coveted TE37 OG.
  • Classic TE37 mold, available in select limited finishes. We can discuss this via PM/Email/Phone but we do not want to detail the purpose of this thread, which is dedicated to fitment and data.
  • Brembo Brake clearance
  • Suspension clearance
  • Fender clearance. No rubbing and no trimming/fender pulling/fender work involved
  • Tires as shown: 265/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
  • 100% bolt-on affair!
  • Note: Will also fit a 255/35/18, 265/40/18, or 265/40/18 tire.
  • Users will need aftermarket Tuner Style lugnuts for added security (Project Kics, Rays, Monster, Muteki are all reputable brands that are compatible with this #systemspec Volk TE37SL fitment. Most FK8 owners who already possess this spec TE37SL will find that their sets will translate over easily to the new FL5 Civic Type R platform.
  • Hub size: 72.6. 72.6 to 64.1 hubrings can be utilized to make these hubcentric.
  • Note: More concave than the TE37 Saga / Saga S-Plus / Saga SL models. The TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 is the most concave out of the bunch in this exclusive and limited size. The go-to!

There may even be room for a 275 tire (proceed at your own discretion). We are finding that a 265/35 or 265/40 is more than sufficient for those who plan to street-drive. As showcased in the photos and from the rear + front view, this is as flush as the wheels can get. A +38 offset would poke ~7mm more outwards and would thus introduce fender rubbing/fouling, which would require permanent modification to mitigate/reduce the chances of rubbing. One does not want to go with such an aggressive width/low offset as you would risk slicing the tire on the quarter panel/fender/bumper tab with too aggressive of a fitment. Adjustable suspension + camber plates would afford one more clearance down the road, but for the vast majority of enthusiasts who plan to modify the car, we highly recommend sticking to the 18x9.5 +45 TE37SL sizing.
