FK2 I see front of 42.2 N/mm. That's actually a little less than fk8. Hmmm...

Hmmm then maybe most of the "harshness" and "stiffness" comes from the more aggressive damper valving of the FK2, if indeed the FK2's spring rates are lower. If Honda releases a more hardcore CTR, maybe they'll raise the spring and damper rates. The Nurburgring isn't completely smooth and has various combinations of bumps/undulations/surfaces, so I imagine you can't go all-out stiff on the suspension, as you may lose traction and bounce around like a ping pong ball. However, most other tracks aren't like the Nurburgring and might benefit from a harder setup.

No, I think the rear pads are not the same, fk2 vs fk8.

I'm just hoping the rear pad isn't exclusive to fk8. That would take aftermarket brands significantly longer to release their products.

Does anyone know if the ECM's are the same on the FK2 as the FK8?

Wondering because the SOLO hooks up to the FK2. Wondering if it will do the same on the FK8.
