Hey, mate! You may have seen that I sometimes do virtual tuning with some folks’ cars on here.

The above pic is super good, so, I played around with it a bit. I went through a variety of ideas, but ultimately came back to simply lowering it, and some very tiny things here and there because it’s such a great look just as it is. Ultimately, I just did some paint changes. I can do other colors, too. JLMK. Great ride!

So, uh...

Honda Civic 10th gen FK7 Si build, cont. 1618965469021

The CTR seats were to enable us to go racing again! I had the car shipped to the Midwest where Jackie Ding and crew bolted in harnesses, mounted new tires, and removed the spare tire... and right out the gate won Gridlife NCM's new ClubTR class. The 2:19.1 he set isn't supercar fast (that goes to Jackie's Supra, where 2:07 outright won the event) but for what is rather close to a stock Si, CH2 performed brilliantly.

Next event, we are going out with a literal FOR SALE sign and will try to find even more time as Jackie gets used to FWD again!

So do the CTR seats just bolt right in? Any further details? Love this build
Yup, you bolt them in.

Bombing (bom’-ng) v. 1. Hauling sufficient a$$ so as to hop up on two of four wheels when waxing the apex of a turn within a racing circuit: Bruh, you were bombing that turn so hard!

I kinda like the cut rear bumper vents, I wonder if the Sport hatch vents fit into the Type R bumper so I can cut up some sport ones since they're $50 a piece.

I'm not aware that CTR vents are any pricier. It's just a Honda lol. And no, FK7 bumper parts are almost 100% incompatible with FK8 and vice versa.

The fk7 ones are $250 and the fk8 ones are over $700. They are NOT compatible.

17-19 rear FK7 garnishes are $50 a piece, FK8's are $90.

You're right though they aren't compatible for some reason. Must be a slightly different design, hexagons to diamonds, and probably different clip placement since the CTR rear is wider.

What @leastfavorite said, the vents are cheap.

The incompatibility is from the design of the bumper itself, CTR vents have sharper corners IIRC from the last time I looked at one. Small stuff that adds up.

Everything type r specific costs more than the regular civic stuff oem and aftermarket It’s stupid. I figured since I knew the 2020 vents were not interchangeable between the two but thank you for the clarification.
