Finally had some time this morning to take off the compressor cover on the 2860r, the whole turbo had to come off.

I got a set of FKX front bumper vents to feed in to the Cobra intake

Please tell me a bit more about these;

Does your car have the Honda Sensing System (i.e. radar unit behind the left one), and if so did your new ones interfere with it in any way?

Where did you get those from? Part number?

I hate the OEM front garnishes used on the HB, however, so far, have not seen/found an alternative that does not interfere with the radar unit.

It WILL interfere with the Honda sensing. I have a 2017 Sport which didn't come with one.

It honestly wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be. IMO it’s not worth going through the hassle of taking the turbo off and apart just to install a t51r, it would be worth it if you’re installing a new turbo with the t51r already in it. I would probably need to get the air filter as close to the compressor inlet as possible to make it loud but that isn’t happening since we have a MAF sensor.

Hit up @daddyturbos on Instagram. I saw him put a t51r on the Type R drop ins so he may be able to do it on the stock 1.5t turbo compressor housing.
