Hello CivicX,
I just thought I’d make a build journal of my FK7 since it has come a long way from how the car was.
IG @d0mochi
First picture I ever took of the car since trading in my 2018 Q50S for commute purposes.
got a set of LED lights from DDM tuning.
The car did get your common bolt ons a year later around 2018 but the highlight was picking up my Pure450 turbo from Pure Turbos later that year. I lived in Oceanside at the time and Pure Turbos was around 10 minutes away from my house.
The car was eventually fully tuned on 91 fuel and I had this fun race with a DE 350z from ABC Garage youtube channel.
Few months later I purchased a flex fuel kit in search of more power. Yes this was still on stock clutch! LOL
The car started tuning for E30 flex fuel the same day after it was installed. After being tuned on flex fuel E30 for a few months I ended up racing this time a FBO HR 350z from the ABC Garage YouTube channel. I ended up losing with my slipping clutch but by all means that was a quick 350z. I do not have a phone video but you should be able to find that race in their channel.
In attempt of achieving the OEM plus build and look, I purchased a set of Civic Si OEM seats around September of 2019.
I even went as far as going for an OEM Style Type R grill with the OEM chrome badge. I said good bye to the Type R H that day.
That same week I also peeled off the PRL sticker on the flex fuel kit in attempt to make it look OEM. Did you know it has a Ktuner sticker underneath it? LMAO.
Just a tease sound clip.
Thought the car looked great that night so I took a photo.
Early 2020 I replaced the OEM Civic Si shifter with an OEM Civic Type R shifter with Acuity rocker arm, centering spring and base bushings.
Racing a couple of bolt ons and tuned 8th gen Civic Si. Mind you the car is suffering from clutch slip.
Spring of 2020 the car finally got the much needed Civic Type R retrofit clutch from Eman at NA Performance.
