Any restrictions? Mine usually has fine print disclaimers like "*Honda models 2011 and older"
Only the usual - "Plus taxes and fees where applicable. Not to be combined with any other offer. Exp June 30,2016" and it has the last 8 digits of my VIN# on it.

It's finally time my northern friend ... haha 20160517_113250.jpg
That's nuts. I changed mine @ 7500 km with 40% left. Just because I felt like I should.. When you car is fully warmed up and you come to a stop where is it idling? Mine is at 600rpm and I feel like it's too low of an rpm. I feel like it should've at least@ 700rpm.

Yeh, it will be about 10,450 miles when I actually get it changed tomorrow. Sorry, bud, I'm usually having too much fun with it to pay attention to idle rpm, hahaha. But the times I pay attention it's usually 600 - 700. The pic I posted recently of my last tank exceeding 500 miles shows it at 700, in P.

FWIW, the only time I've seen RPMs at 600 is with the fan completely off. With it on, its at 700. 600 = rougher idle; 700 = a good deal smoother.

It's not enough to bother me, but I definitely feel the difference.

Getting my first oil change this Saturday. I'm apparently already overdue (negative 17 miles) and im currently at 5725 miles. (Using another car until I have to take it in for Saturday so the Dealer doesn't give me shit for being overdue and try to fuck me out of powertrain warranty)

It's official. Synthetic blend, filter, and tire rotation ... $61.49. Took 5 months. Also straightened my steering wheel under warranty - toe was off on both front wheels. So I'm taking this as a W! Honda Civic 10th gen First Oil Change 20160520_155053

As in real estate - Location, Location, Location - we get ours for $19.95 - oil, filter, rotation - along with a free electrical and safety/brake inspection. Filter is almost free if dealer does it, so why not?

I think my alignment is off as well. The steering wheel seems just ever so slightly off center.

FYI for anyone looking to pick up full synthetic - http://slickdeals.net/f/8619254-5-q...tore-pickup?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1

Slickdeals has promos for either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil for usually $10 after rebate at least once a month.

Promo's been going on for awhile, got mine for just over $10 after rebate. Having my dealer use my own oil saved me $45 net ($79.99 for synthetic + $19.99 rotation vs. ~$10 synthetic + $18.99 for filter/labor + $19.99 rotation)
