I think you're right about the starting prices here.I agree. But that's why your price figures are so far off.
You said "fully spec'd" earlier, but there have really only been two versions of the Si: Standard and Navi. Currently they are $23k and $24.5k respectively.
Personally I expect the 2016 Si sedan to start at $24k. It may be a touch more, depending on how wild they get. Then add $2k for the Navi-Sensing option.
That standard price will allow it to remain under the $25k starting price of the GTI as it always has. And the WRX is a little higher, starting at $26.5k.
But Honda seems like they might ditch their old pricing model this time and package out the Civic like the other manufacturers do. You can add 10k to all the competition cars with options easily.
