First car show with my CTR

So yesterday was my first ever car show that my car is in it, Type R at that... I got there, I sign up, got my parking spot, and set my car up. Lot people started to come by taking pictures, asking questions and giving a lot of compliments. At the end judges started to calling out the winners and then this happened...

I think most people nowadays don't open up unless they have something really worth it under there or a LOT of dress up. I notice most meets I've gone to in my area it's the guys with swaps or at least heavy on the engine build mods, everyone else doesn't bother.

I mean like, I can open my hood but it's mostly stock (intake and DP) so I rarely do. Definitely feel like I'm baiting people as when I've done so a crowd comes over and then immediately realizes....

Dress up on the docket at some point soon though.... ? Then I won't feel ashamed of my mostly stock engine bay!

I guess I'm weird, I like seeing even stock engine bays just cause I haven't seen everything out there.

Congrats man! I went to my first show yesterday too! No prizes though and I wasn't anything special, given there were ~20 other Type R's there

But glad you got to show her and even better that you won!
