Well, I have it narrowed down to two wheels, and I like them both. The only difference I see is that one is 18x8 and the other is 18x7.5. The 18x7.5 one is lighter, but obviously more narrow. I'm looking for some better traction, but most importantly ride and noise comfort. Any suggestions regarding the wheel width and some tires?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Nathan Zachary

Get 18x8 (stock size for Sport hatchbacks and Si models) and 245/40-18 tires (a hair-smidge bigger than stock but well within tolerance).

Thank you both for the feedback! If I were to go with the 18x7.5 instead, is there a recommendation for tire size? I think that those wheels are nicer looking and in terms of build quality, but I'm still open to the 18x8 wheels if there is a dramatic performance difference, or some other pertinent reason.

Thanks again!

I'd go for a 235.

stock tire size works fine for 7.5" width. 235/40zr18

235s on the 7.5" and 245s on the 8".

As for tires, for all seasons I'd go with Continental DWS06+ hands down.
Summers you have a lot of choices and I haven't driven any car on pure summers so I can't comment but my choice right now would be the conti extreme contact sport, they're 360 thread wear and come with a 35k miles guarantee I think. They can be tracked and do decent there as a multi use tire(meaning not a 200TW track focused tire).
