I have a 2018 CTR with 10,800 miles on it in 6 months! It IS my daily driver and I live in Orange County. I have taken Dory on the track 3 times. She was driven in HPDE 1/2 and 3/4 all 3 days! So she got a workout! I replaced my tires at 5000 miles and have taken a break from the track until I decide what tires will go on the Titan 7's. That set will be my track set. Soooooooo.......now I need brakes and my rotors are grooved and I'm looking at the GiroDisc. I'm thinking Hawk pads but I'd like to hear from ya'll! Again, this is my daily driver and I may be at the track 6-8 weekends/year.
Thanks for your advice and comments!!

I only daily mine (no track days) and use the Hawk Street HPS 5.0. Eliminated all the squeal the stock pads had. Really like them.

My favorite (admittedly from experience in other cars):

Cobalt Friction CSR (Club Sport Race). Very sharp initial bite. Never faded on me. Medium-low rotor wear. Very dusty. Discontinued in favor of newer XR series but it is still in stock at some places.

Did you just get pads for the front or the rear also. What are the part #'s for the rear?

Anything that dusts less than stock without losing performance?

You looking for one set of pads to do both daily and take to your weekends or would you be wanting to swap pads before your track day weekends? I ask because my answer will vary on what you say.

I used Hawk Ceramic on my STI and loved them. They are great for a daily driver. They lost a bit of pedal feel and are pretty hard, but they had almost NO dust.

Definitely not for the track or any kind of performance driving, but the trade offs were good for me.

anyone have experience with Spoon's brake pads? any good?
I have Spoon front & rear pads installed on R-00057
Performance is great, they bite hard when pressure is applied however the trade off sucks...lots of brake dust & low speed noise.
