The CCV does catch a little. Just enough to wet the bottom of the catch can dipstick.
Our usage sounds very similar. PCV is highly recommended. CCV an added luxury, but not needed as much as the PCV.

Still not seeing much accumulation in the CCV can? Think I only really need the PCV can. 2 track days a year (not at 10/10ths) and some autocross. 99% daily driving miles with some fun on-ramps and such.
