here in canada (quebec) if you get caught now you lose pretty much everything 60 km/h above speed limit so......160 would be max now...so slow
they call it ''grand excès vitesse'' you lose your car for 30 day, lose permit for 30 days, ticket is above 1500$, buy back of permit would be 500+$ next years, insurrance go up......if they put ''conduite dangeureuse '' (dangerous driving) on top of it... it's a criminal record

BUT i was lucky, when i was kid and they were not such thing , so the fastest a drive was 225 km/h...ford taurus SHO1995.....going 120km/h or 225km/h feel prety much same thing on this big boat.
and it goes to that speed pretty quick for that time, they were ''police intercepter'' for a reason.

fastest as passenger was eagle talon 1992, everything was modded on this car....even got some kind of sprinkler on the intercooler (was not use strreet mode)......max 280 km/h on highway.....scare me!!!
but high speed was not best part of this car.... the acceleration on this 4wd car was off the chart....doing like 10.6 10.5 on 1/4 miles with this stupid car....

I drove like a 1992 or 93 SHO once and it was amazingly fast, I wish I'da known back then, but I drove it after it was likely 10-15 years old.

I do too much turns to consider "fast" left alone "fastest". However, I can say.... I am very "quick"

Are top speed runs better with the softer non-Si suspension do you think because it soaks up bumps and stuff? I feel like the stiffer suspension could get upset more easily in Sport mode with the adjustable dampers
Good question! I haven't tried that run again since I put on the rear sub frame links. Work and or weather keeps putting off my installation of the front W brace. It is much more responsive now (with rear links) than it was before, so I wanna say with the stiffer suspension you should see an improvement in speed times.

155mph for about 30 minutes on I57 on a Kawasaki GPZ 1100. I was passing cars like it was a video game. Very stable and still had a lot left in the throttle.

150 indicated in my SC400 on Hwy 19 between Palatka and Salt Springs (Once went 1100 miles from Chicago to Ocala Fl in just under 10 hours flat including stops in that car. I only dipped below 100 a few times the whole way)
260kph indicated in an AMG 500 SEC I borrowed on Hwy 28 between Pittsburgh and Blawnox
162 indicated in a lightly modded MkIV Supra on the Howard Franklin Bridge. I hit the limiter like a brick wall, would have done 190 easy.

I hit 124mph on the 2013 CRZ I had a while back.
They apparently top out at 132. I didn't have enough road to keep going.

Ah~ I was on the toll and, let off to save some mpg as, I was about to exit soon - so didn't go test the top speed.
It was a CVT, so a bit slow IMO, and was on the 6th gear/speed.
