Hello Everyone,

Recently my car is giving me false warning:"Brake" flashing on the screen randomly. It has happened 3-4 times in the past 4 days. There was no obstacle at the front.

What do you guys think the problem would be?

Dirty sensor? There's a black plastic shroud on the driver's side lower bumper, make sure it's unobstructed and clean.

You can also fiddle with sensitivity settings, so try turning that lower.

I find heavy rain and sometimes shadows from overpasses will trigger it. The distance settings seem to help.

It could just be a random bug. I know when I'm on a curvy suburban road with cars parked on the side I damn near have to turn the CMS off.

My Honda dealer did the re-aiming of the radar sensor and it did not fix the problem then they ordered new radar sensor and then re-aimed it and now my car is working fine perfectly without the false "Brake" warnings and my adaptive cruise control is working fine by detecting the vehicle ahead of me.
