Oh that looks clean. Hmm do u have a closer shot.of front vent? How was screen mounted?
I will have to take a better picture of the front ones. I made the screen big enough to be "pinched" and held in place by the white plastic of the bumpers. In short, they are sandwiched in there but I like the silicone and hot glue gun ideas too, just never needed to do more than the "pinch" method. It is the same method I used with the Kevlar/Carbon fiber I used to have in there. See below:

Where did you get your mesh grill? Home Depot has 36x36 sheets for 40 bucks where as customcargrills sells similar 6x36 sheets for about the same price shipped. Wonder if the HD versions are quality... it's a much better deal. And they have black, silver, white.

I bought a few sheets a long time ago from a local metal co think it was a1 alloys but i dont remember. I think they were $27.00 or $40.00 for a sheet of 2'x4'. They are 1/8 holes. Reason im guessing in price is because of the thickness..i have .063 and im assuming the cheaper price is for .050. Im not sure but yea ..looks like the hd would be maybe better so i dont have to paint it...though raw sheet maybe cheaper but would have to factor in a spray can. Thx for fo info..ill go to hd and see if its better.

I wanted larger holes so I used the very inexpensive steel lath. Here it is:

Yea thats very cheap. A lot less than the stuff im using so a lot of savings. So reason i went with the perforated sheet was because i want to limit the size of rock or pebbles going through bigger holes and potentially dammage parts at hi way speeds that were not intented to be that exposed in the first place. Also went with a thicker mesh so as to withstand dents that can still happen but to a small amount. Water is also going to get through my mesh but not have it fully take on a spash. Definately more air through the hd type but youd b surprised how much air gets through this as well. All in all...either way looks awsome compared to stock.

Oh my, 0.02 is teeny tiny thin. Thanks for the visual.

Found a white aluminum sheet at 0.04 (2'x3') so would have to paint it.

And then this, similar to the steel lath.

This amazon user put some 0.020 stuff on the front of his SUV. Wonder how it looks with some miles under its belt. I would guess dinged and dented.

Wow, I really like that. I've had my vents off for a week now trying to figure out what to do. First thing I tried today was a body color match. Plasti-dipped first, so I can undo.....
