I actually like the concept of sending the exhaust through the fake vents. No pipe. Just a smoothish end for the pipe.

This is just a rough mock up of rear vent with hole outlet for exhaust pipe. Thoughts?
Wow, I really like that. I've had my vents off for a week now trying to figure out what to do. First thing I tried today was a body color match. Plasti-dipped first, so I can undo.....

Next up, I'm going to cover the vents and color match the covers, something like this.....

How are you attaching your machined metal frame so cleanly, with no rivets or screws?

Hmmm..the ring to perferated screen with rivets. I have not attached the whole thing yet to the plastic outer trim yet. Im going to experiment with silicone and see how well it holds up.

I know its messy but i plan on prying it off anyways to try other vent designs. So i used this silicone and it feels like it will hold. Ill pry it off later next week and see how strong it held. If it holds then no hardware is needed.

Looks great! I know the silicone will hold. I was thinking using silicone as well. Great minds..... But why are you putting an "exhaust" hole in the front? The first couple pics with no hole are perfect!! .

The hole in the front is incase others wanted to route the intake pipe to the bottom. Just cutting out options....kinda like a mad max style lol. The one without the hole also looks clean.
