Factory microphone with sony 7 inch apple carplay unit

Hello,

So I will be installing the Sony - 7" Android Auto/Apple CarPlay - Built-in Bluetooth in-Dash Digital Media Receiver - Black into my 2016 honda civic lx and I ordered all the parts but was wondering if the factory microphone will work with the system. I have not been able to find this answer anywhere.

Yes it does, I talk to people on the phone via bluetooth in my 2016 lx so I assume I have a microphone

Its the sedan version not the coupe.

I think you can only learn from the place that you're getting the unit. Most of the aftermarket headunits doesn't support OEM microphone. They came with specific mic. Idk why, they all microphone in the end!
