Factory lug nuts

I have a ‘19 Si. The factory lug nuts are ball seat, but they’re a very short ball, aftermarket lug nuts with ball seats are massive and about 1/4” longer than factory. Do I have to use ball seat on factory wheels or can I go with a different seat? Obviously I don’t want to shear them off and end up on the side of the road so I need what’s going to work. I just hate the chrome and want to swap them with black or maybe something else. Any help is appreciated!!

To get rid of the chrome lol. But luckily I found 20 used but great condition Honda OEM black lug nuts for $30. The guy had them in a box for the last 6 years and had no use for them after selling his S2K and 9th gen Civic. Beats $185 for 20 new OEM lug nuts!!
