So what did you do about the plug on the negative terminal (see screenshot)? I haven’t even looked into what it is yet lol.The wires I added are 4 gauge. Either stock battery wire is a very thin jacket 4 gauge, but prob 8 gauge.
Neg terminal goes on the brass post in pic. Here's another with it on. Only pic I have, I can get a better one. I made the block but some sell similar ones. Knukoncepts has another mounting block tooSo what did you do about the plug on the negative terminal (see screenshot)? I haven’t even looked into what it is yet lol.
Actually I was asking about the connector thats on the negative terminal. Check the pic I posted where the arrow is pointing to. There's the battery cable but there is also a 2-prong connector that attaches to the terminal as well.Neg terminal goes on the brass post in pic. Here's another with it on. So I finally looked up that part and found that it is a sensor. I assume it sense voltage from the battery (?). Not sure if its needed or if the car will throw an error if not used. Mind you, that part was looked up using my 2020 Si as reference. Idk if other trims have the same part.
Actually I do see it now in your other pic. The first one didn’t really show it, then had to look a little more on the second one. Thanks for the info, much appreciatedThe plug is still on mine. I'll take another pic in a bit. I'm running 2k watts and 24ah headway lithium cells in parallel with agm with no issues.
