I've seen this asked numerous times in several different threads, but just wanted to share the results of my cloth armrest swap to leather. My car is a 2019 Sedan and the parts are different for the Coupe from what I understand. And yes, the parts are a direct fit from an Insight. Same as a Civic, just a lot cheaper!

I bought everything from OEMPARTSOURCE.com and didn't have to wait for more than a week. Something was backordered but it still arrived on time.

Anyways, super easy upgrade and totally worth not having sandpaper on my forearms all day. Hope this helps the community.

Note* Just FYI, the stitching is gray and not red. Personally, I don't mind at all since it still matches the gray accents in the seats. I would assume no one would ever notice.

I have a coupe and also ordered mine from OEMPartsource. They had the best prices that I could find. I'll add my experience tomorrow after checking my stuff that came today.

Very nice.

What was involved in the swap out/in?

I've noticed that sunscreen can leave a blue residue on the fabric so this is great.

For kicks, I wonder if a red permanent marker would color the accent threads?

For the doors, you do have to take the panels off, which is incredibly easy and then 5 screws hold the armrest on. This video helps:

The center console you simply pop off the two side pieces and push the new ones on and with the center console armrest with the hinge, I actually just unscrewed the two screws underneath the cloth piece, popped that off and swapped it with the leather top piece. I didn't replace the entire hinge since my car is so new anyways.

Very interested to see your results. I ordered leather seats, but they did not come with matching leather for the door armrests...

Thanks. The fabric rests are not the best. This is nice.

I have the Coupe also. Would happen to have the parts list?
Keep in mind, removing the door panel in the coupe is different. Search for the correct video in utube.

The center console parts are the same. I ordered the door armrests from the Coupe Touring. I don't know if you can get them cheaper from other trims.

I was didn't get a good match on the part numbers. Could you share an invoice or packing list, minus your personal info. My email is [email protected] if that helps.
Thanks and looking forward to this upgrade.

Woah...I've had my Si for 6 months now and this is the first time I'm finding out my center console and door trim pieces weren't factory. I feel like I owe whoever owned it before me a thank you

Yeah, it was semi/mostly successful. I posted pics in the daily thread, but I figure I should put them in this thread for others to find.

I used a fabricmate red fabric dye pen (one is more than enough). I then applied a little pressure and worked the dye into the stitches. The dye rubs off the leather with a paper towel - even after a couple hours. I applied two coats 12 hours apart, waited another 24 hours and then rubbed out the extra dye with more paper towels (if you don't do this, not my fault). The stitches ended up a color somewhere between orange and red, but still look way better than the oem gray stitches.
